Yesterday, just a few days after what went down at Adam Connor’s house, Adeline Young sat down with Vanity Fair to speak about her marriage and what really went down between the once happy couple.
Amidst the alleged sex tape rumors—we’re still waiting on the edge of our seats for that video to be released into the world, by the way—Adeline Young made an unexpected statement, and we’re not sure what to think of it yet.
“I never wanted to talk about this, but after seeing the photos of them together, I didn’t want this to be swept under the rug,” said the Hollywood actress when she was shown the pictures of Adam Connor in an embrace with Lucy Meyer while he held their son in his arms. “No one called me to let me know what was going on, that my son was in danger. I read about it the next day and learned about the details as I answered the questions of the detectives who knocked on my door. I was blindsided. It shouldn’t have been a nanny taking care of my son in a situation like this. He needed his mother, and I wasn’t given the chance to be there for him.”
According to the beautiful actress, Lucy Meyer started to work for Adam Connor as Aiden’s nanny before she became Olive Thorn’s literary agent. While this happened after the couple was already divorced, Adeline Young claims that they were talking about getting back together, giving it another shot. “I met her. I watched her play with my son. I was so blinded by the love and trust I had for my husband that I didn’t see what she was trying to do. I didn’t see her for who she is. I’ll never stop fighting for my son.”
She continues to claim that the sex tape was recorded with none other than the handsome actor himself. “We were young. We made a mistake. I’m afraid the only reason it resurfaced recently is because Adam didn’t want me to come out and tell the world he had cheated on me with her in a time when I was so vulnerable and still so in love with him.”
The interview continues in the same tone, and we are not exactly sure what to believe at this point.
Unexpectedly, as soon as the interview went live, Adam’s reps released a short statement of their own, claiming there had never been a moment where Adeline and Adam discussed the possibility of getting back together and that the relationship between Adam Connor and Lucy Meyer started only very recently. They also added that Lucy Meyer had never worked as a nanny for Adam Connor, that they only had a friendship that bloomed into something more as they continued to spend time together.
We told you, you should’ve acted fast and bought yourself a shed close to Adam Connor’s house so you could knock on his door and offer him baked goods or maybe ask for a cup of sugar. Now it seems like we’re all too late.
