Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

Accessing novelzones.com or reading any novel on it constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use in full, together with the Privacy Policy, the Cookie and Consent Notice and the Age and Content Notice, each of which forms part of this agreement. A visitor who does not accept them should discontinue use.

2. Eligibility and age

Parts of this site are written for adult readers. By accessing the erotic romance category you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. General guidance on the rest of the catalog appears in the Age and Content Notice.

3. License granted to you

ROLLING DIGITAL PTE. LTD. grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to read the novels on this site for private, non-commercial enjoyment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Ownership of the works

Every novel published on NovelZones is original work created by or for ROLLING DIGITAL PTE. LTD. and copyright and all other rights in it — text, characters, titles, plots, cover artwork and chapter structure — are owned by ROLLING DIGITAL PTE. LTD. The site design, catalog structure, metadata and the NovelZones name and logo are likewise ours.

5. Conduct that is not permitted

You agree not to:

  • reproduce, republish, redistribute, mirror, post or otherwise make available any novel or chapter, in whole or in part, on any other site, platform, forum, messaging service or file-sharing service;
  • translate, adapt, dramatize, serialize, narrate, record or produce audio, video or derivative versions of any novel;
  • compile, print or distribute any novel as an ebook or physical edition;
  • sell, sublicense or otherwise commercialize access to the site or its content;
  • use robots, crawlers, scrapers or other automated means to access, copy or extract text from the site without our prior written consent;
  • circumvent or interfere with access controls, age gates or rate limits;
  • transmit malicious code or place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure;
  • employ technical measures intended to mislead advertising partners as to the delivery or viewing of advertisements; or
  • remove, obscure or alter any copyright or proprietary notice.

Sharing a link to a chapter is welcome. Copying the chapter is not.

6. Text and data mining, and AI training

ROLLING DIGITAL PTE. LTD. expressly reserves all rights in respect of text and data mining and does not permit the use of any content on this site for the development, training, fine-tuning, evaluation or grounding of machine learning or generative artificial intelligence systems.

This reservation is made expressly for the purposes of Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and any equivalent provision in other jurisdictions. No license for such use is granted by the availability of this content, by the absence of a technical restriction, or by any robots directive. 7. Unsolicited submissions

We do not accept unsolicited manuscripts, outlines, characters, story ideas or suggestions. Any such material sent to us is not confidential, creates no obligation, and may not be made the basis of a claim that a published work derives from it. Our writers develop material internally.

8. Fiction

Every work on this site is fiction. Characters, events, organizations and settings are invented or fictionalized, and any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or to actual events, is coincidental. Nothing in any novel constitutes advice of any kind, and depictions of conduct within a story are not endorsements of it.

9. Advertising and external links

The site carries advertising served by third parties and may link to external resources. We do not endorse, verify or accept responsibility for advertised goods and services or for the content of linked destinations. Dealings with a third party reached through this site are between you and that party.

10. Availability

We give no undertaking that the site, any novel or any chapter will be available continuously. We may add, revise, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of the catalog at any time, with or without notice, and without liability. A serialized novel may be paused or discontinued, and we do not guarantee that any work in progress will be completed.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither ROLLING DIGITAL PTE. LTD. nor its officers, employees, agents or licensors is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site. Our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use or the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid for access, which is nil, or ten United States dollars.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and where a jurisdiction restricts these exclusions, they apply only so far as its law permits.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold ROLLING DIGITAL PTE. LTD. and its officers, employees and agents harmless against claims, liabilities, losses and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms of Use, your unlawful use of the site, or any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of content from it.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, for breach of these Terms of Use or where we reasonably consider it necessary to protect the site, our catalog or other readers. Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 15 survive termination.

15. General

Governing law. Governed by the law of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles and without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections available where you live.

Severability. An unenforceable provision is severed; the remainder continues in full force.

No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms of Use. We may assign them on a reorganization, merger or sale of the business.

Entire agreement. These Terms of Use, with the documents incorporated in section 1, are the entire agreement between us regarding the site.

16. Changes

We may revise these Terms of Use. A revised version takes effect on publication, and the date above records when. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
